Study the effec ts of diffe rent meth ods for s upporting Fe on So dium Y zeolite on CNTs ch aracterist ics produc ed by CC VD meth od

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are allotropes o f Carbon with cylindrical nanostruc tures which were introduced to the world by Iijima [۱] in ۱۹۹۱. Thes e nanomaterials have u nusual prop erties, which are valuable for nanotechnology, electronics, optics and ot her fields of materials sc ience and technology. V arious techniques have been devel oped for syn thesis of C NTs. In this work we are about to synthesize CNTs via Fe supported NaY Zeo lite substrate, using CCVD (Catalytic Chemical Vapor Deposition)method [۲ ]. Various parameters such as, catalyst nanoparticles pre paration method, Fe loa ding and growth para meters can a lter the stru cture and morphology of the produced CNTs [۳]. In this study we investigate the effect of catalyst nanoparticles preparation process (impr egnation a nd ion-exch ange) on characteristics of CNTs.
