چکیده مقاله:
In this paper, new modified m agnetite na noparticles functionalize d with Triazene groups were design ed and synthesized for extraction/p reconcentration of sub-ppb level of mercury io ns in water and fish sa mples prior to its dete rmination with inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectro metry (ICP- OES). In th e separation process, aq ueous solution of Hg۲+ ions was m ixed with ۱۵۰ mg of F e۳O۴ magnetite nanoparticles modified with ۱-( p-Acetyl ph enyl)-۳-(o-ethoxy pheny l) triazene ( AET) and then external magnetic field was ap plied for isolation of magnetite nano particles containing mercury ions. Experimental conditions for an eff ective adsorp tion including pH, sample volume, eluent concentration and existing of co-existin g ions have been studied and establis hed. Und er the optimal extraction and preco ncentrationconditions, t he limit of detection ( LOD) of ۰. ۰۴ ng mLí۱ and the relative standard deviation (R.S.D) of ۲.۰۹% (n =۵) were achieved by IC P-OES. The sorption ca pacity of functionalized Fe۳O۴ magnetite nanopa rticles unde r optimum conditions h as been found to be ۱۰.۲۶ mg of mercury ion p er gram at pH ۷ with t he preconcentration factor of ۵۰۰ (۲ mL of elu tion for a ۱۰۰۰ mL sample volume). Standard soluti ons containing Hg۲+ in the concentration ran ge of ۰.۲–۲۰۰ ng.mLí۱ were examin ed by the proposed procedure and it was observ ed that cali bration curve was linear in this range (R۲ = ۰.۹۹۹). The spec ial advanta ges of proposed method are high enrichment factor, fast separatio n and low detection limits compa red with ot her methods.
