چکیده مقاله:

Materials in nano size have a very different propertie s from the s ame materials in mass form. These materials can transpor t easily fro m the placen ta. Therefore, in this study experi ments were performed on effects of nano zinc oxide on hin d limb bud development in NMRI mice embryos.In this work in vivo technique was appli ed. Experimental groups of pregnant mice on day ۱۱ of pre gnancy, rec eived single injection of zinc oxide in dose s of ۰.۵gr/kgr, ۱gr/kgr and ۱.۵gr/kgr intraperitoneally. On day ۱۵ of pregnancy the fetuses were extrud ed the hind limb buds, were separated from their bodies and after the morphological studies preparation, were applied, for histological and statistical a nalysis. In three region s of foot in cluding toes, legs and t high, numb er of mesen chymal cells, chondrocyt (cartilag e), atrophi ed, and muscle , hypertrophied, resting, dividi ng and degenerated cells , bone and red blood ce lls were co unted.Fetuse s in experimental group۱ (۰.۵gr/ kgr nano zinc oxide), were abort ed and stati stical results obtained from cell c ounts in all three regions. The experimental group۲ received ۱gr/kg r and group۳ received ۱.۵gr/kgr of nano zinc ox ide, showed significant changes (P< ۰.۰۵ , P< ۰ .۰۱, P< ۰.۰۰۱) in the n umber of m esenchymal cells, cartilage, atroph ied, and muscle, hypertrophy, divi ding, degene rated bone and red blood cells com pared with control and sham groups. Therefore nano zinc oxide, showed significant effect on hind limb b uds develop ment in NM RI mice fetus.
