چکیده مقاله:

Selective protecti on of alcohols and phen ols has received attention in recent years for their role in multistep synt hesis [۱]. Numerous ho mogeneous catalytic s ystems are available for this transf ormation [۲ ,۳], but m ost of them are non-reusable, and they o ften have other disadv antages. Th e employment of heterogeneous c atalysis in organic synthesis make s the reacti on handling easier. Many examples of selective protection of multifunctional mole cules using heterogene ous catalyst s have been reported by Sartori in a review [۴]. An attr active advantage of magnetic Fe۳O ۴ nanoparticles (MNP s) is its ea sy separation using external magne ts, which minimizes t he loss of catalyst during separati on. The dir ect use of MNPs witho ut modification as magnetically reco verable cata lysts for or ganic reactio ns is very scarce. Therefore, we were prepared MNPs by a rc discharge (AD-MN Ps) and co-p recipitation (CP-MNPs) methods and their c atalytic acti vities for ac etylating o f alcohols and phenols were compa red. We carried out all our reactions in the presents of CaCl۲ co-ca talyst and acetic anhydride, under solvent free conditions at room temp erature.
