Kinetics of Oxidation of Bio-et hanol in wastewater u sing nano CuO/ZnO Catalyst

In the last decade s, the intere st in the use of bio-etha nol as fuel has been widely developed in direct bio-ethanol Fuel Cells (DEFCs ). Nowaday s, the use of bio-fue ls is becoming increasingly important. Among them, the bio-ethanol is an attractive alternative bio-fuel since it can be produce d from biom ass [۱]. However, the release of these ethanolic wastewate rs in the ec osystems is a dramatic source of eutrophication and perturbations in the aquatic ecosy stems and also, killed go od and bad microorgan isms in soil. In this study three models (Lagregern, Blanchard, Elovich) of kinetics rate equati on is investigated for the optimum reaction [۲].
