چکیده مقاله:
Reinf orced concre te structure and chloride diffusion in concrete are experimently studied by differe nt researchers. According to diffe rent researches chloride diffusion is main caus e of corrosion and de gradation of steel in co ncrete. Chlorides can come from several sources. They can be cast into the c oncrete or they can diffuse in fro m the outsid e. In this study Electrochemical Impedance S pectroscopy (EIS) was used to determine chloride diffusio n in concr ete. Nanopa rticle has been found to improve co ncrete properties. Much of the work to date on concrete with nanopa rticles has been with nano-silica (n ano-SiO۲). The aim of this study is to investigate the nano SiO۲ addition effect on the concrete sample’s chl oride diffusion. Diffusion coefficient of chloride (D) determined usin g Warburg coefficient (ıw) from the Nyquist plot obtaine d by EIS measurement. On a Nyqu ist plot, at high freque ncies the Warburg impedance is s mall . At low frequenc ies (linear range) chlori de ions hav e to diffuse further, in creasing the Warburg im pedance.
