Nanotechnology, which is cu rrently one of the most active research fields, ta kes advanta ge of the fact that nano materials have unique mechanical, electrical, and therma l properties . For examp le, the hig h surface areas of c onducting nanoparticles (NPs) pr ovide conti nuous conducting pathways and extremely large interfaces when mixed with polymer matrices. Such comp osites are usually applie d as electro magnetic int erference (EMI) materials.[۱] Controlling the dispersion pro cess remai ns one of th e most serious challenges when preparing polymer nanocomposites because the intrinsic vander Waals attractions [۲,۳] and high surface en ergies of NPs result in their tending to aggregate togethe r. As a resu lt, such NP s have ver y low solubilities in most solvents.
