چکیده مقاله:

Dyes are an important class of synthetic org anic compounds used in the textile industry an d are therefore common industrial pollutants [۱]. Methyl orang e (MO) is a commonly used monoazo dye in laboratory assays, textiles and other commercial products and has to be removed from water due to its toxicity[۲]. Various chemi cal and physical processes such as adsorption [۳,۴], Solvent Extraction U sing Reverse Micelles [۵], and Photocatalytic degradation [۶,۷] were used for the removal of Methyl Orange from wate r samples. In the presen t study the modified sa wdust by diethy lenetriamine (DETA-S awdust) com posite as a novel adsorbent was prepared by a two-step met hod. The structure and morphology of the synthesized adsorbent were characterized by powder the fourier transform of infrared spe ctroscopy (FTIR) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). T he adsorption was considered as the pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order kinetic models.
