Investigation of some physical properties of ۱,۲-Ethanediol+۱,۳-Propanediol binary mixtures

Study on the physical property plays a crucial role in understanding of intermolecular interaction and also with use of this physical data scientist can made divers molecular models or theories of solution to extend our knowledge about the molecular interaction between components. In this paper we investigated some thermodynamic and transport properties of ۱,۲-Ethanediol (Ethylene glycol) with ۱,۳-Propanediol because They are important industrial component. These glycols play significant role in industry such as antifreeze, plasticizer, humectant, solvent and extractor in automotive, tobacco, cosmetic, and petroleum industry [۱]. Therefore, it is of great importance to determine some physical properties of glycols binary mixtures, because many industrial process requires accurate values of thermodynamic and transport properties of liquids [۲,۳] . In this work, density, viscosity, excess molar volume and viscosity deviation of ۱,۲-ethanediol + ۱,۳-propanediol was determined at temperatures of ۲۹۸.۱۵, ۳۰۳.۱۵, and ۳۰۸.۱۵ K.
