The carbon-based nanostruct ures[۱], esp ecially single [۲] and m ultiwalled carbon nanotubes (MW CNTs) [۳], h ave been e xtensively studied for their roleas s olid substrates, mainly d ue to the accessibility of enormou s surfacearea that can be readily functionalized [۴]. Thus how treate dsurfaces can be used to adsorbed heavy transition metals , which may be presen ce in water, waste and etc. The main questio n of this st udy is the investigation of capability of CNTs as filters for adsorption of vanadiu m ions in ind ustrial wastewaters
