Investigating th e impact of the onion change on the interaction p otential of ۱-buty l-۳-meth ylimidazol ium ionic liquids b y using the experimental pVT data

Abroad range of ap plications o f ionic liq uids, including green solvent for synthesis an d separation and electrolyte, are expected due to their low melting point, low-flammability, negligible vapour pressure, high conductivity and electrochemical stability [۱,۲]. Structur es and properties of io nic liquids are controlled by interac tions between ions. The size, shape, and com position of the ions affect the thermodynamic properties of ioni c liquids b y influencing the crystal packing ability and lattice energy of the ionic liquid [۳]. In general, t he internal interactions of ionic liqu ids will decrease with an increase in the size an d complexity of the an ionic and cationic com ponents. This is due to a greater c harge deloc alization an d charge isolation. Interestingly, th is trend is not straightforwardly predictable.
