Phase eq uilibrium data of tern ary systems are very i mportant for simulation , design an d optimize of separation operatio ns. A large amount of investigatio n has been carried out in recent years on the L LE measure ments of ternary system s, in order to understand and provi de further information about the phase behavior of such systems [۱–۴]. Sinc e, the liquid extraction of acetic acid from aqueous solution is industrially and scientifically important, t he precise L LE data of a liquid mix ture composed of (water + acetic acid + organic solvent) are required. In this work, we extend our studies by usin g isomers of xylene (m - xylene , o-xylene a nd p- xylene) to extract of acetic acid for the ter nary mixtures of {wate r + acetic acid + xylene, m- xylene, o- xylene or p- xylene) were obtained at ۲۹۸.۱۵ K and ambient pressure
