چکیده مقاله:
The purpose of the study was the pivotal role of teachers' beliefs about teaching acrossgender, students' perceptions about class participation across gender, and the relationshipbetween teachers' beliefs and learners' class participation. The population of this study was ۴۸language teachers and ۴۰۸language learners from ۱۵language institutes. Three instrumentswere utilized: self-assessment of class participation checklist (SACPC); open-ended teachingbeliefs questionnaire (OTBQ); and observation. A mixed method was used. The findingsindicated that male and female’s beliefs inclined to art and among ۲۷factors of students' classparticipation, ۷factors of class participation in males and females showed differently.
