Static tests to examine the effects of some chemicals as halite scale inhibitor in oil and gas production processes

It is approved practically and supported by calculation that presence of some materials in even low concentrations could change the process of crystallization. One of the gradually increasing challenges in oil and gas production industry in some regions is the halite scale. In this research, the effect of some chemicals in crystallization process of halite and prevention of the scale has been studied. The study designed using simple and available facilities as so-called method of “static tests”. Results show different inhibition of scale by chemicals; that is an efficient method capable to develop and measure in the similar systems.
