Introduction: The advent of COVID-۱۹ has led to fear and anxiety among people around the world.Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of spiritual health and resilience in predicting the mental vulnerability of Birjand Azad University staff in two corona peaks in the country.Methods: This descriptive study is a causal-comparative study. Among university staff and based on Morgan table, ۱۲۳ people were selected as a simple random sample. Pulotzin and Ellison Spiritual Health Questionnaire, Connor and Davidson Resilience and Mental Syndrome Questionnaires were completed in two stages (first and third corona peaks). Mean data, standard deviation and t-test were used in data analysis with SPSS software version ۲۱.Findings: The results showed that there was a significant difference in the degree of psychological vulnerability of individuals in the two corona peaks (p <۰.۰۰۱). There is (p <۰.۰۰۱). There is a significant difference between the level of spiritual health and the level of mental vulnerability of individuals in the two corona peaks (p <۰.۰۰۱).Conclusion: Increased resilience and spiritual health can lead to a decrease in mental vulnerability. The results of this study can be used to diagnose the extent of psychological damage caused by coronary heart disease in the staff of Birjand Azad University and to plan the necessary psychological interventions in this target group
