Operational Security Issues for Hadoop Framework Challenges and Envisioned Solutions

Over the last few years, many organizations are integrating the Apache Hadoop framework to their software ecosystem architecture in order to store and compute massiveamount of data on a cluster of commodity computers. While the framework offers a scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions for distributed storage and computation, it suffers from some security issues. This paper reports on a number of those security issues arisen when deploying the Hadoop in a big and real organization. Moreover, the possible solutions are proposed for those issues.
