چکیده مقاله:

The knowledge about the thermodynamic properties such as the gas solubility into solvents has a key role in the designing, simulating and operating of many chemical processes. In this work, the solubility of hydrogen sulfide (H۲S) in ionic liquid ۱-n-butyl-۳-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([BMIM][PF۶]) is investigated at temperatures ranging from ۳۰۳.۱۵ to ۳۴۳.۱۵ K and pressures up to ۱۰ bar. It is shown that the solubility of H۲S increases with increasing of pressure and decreases with increasing of temperature. The gas solubility is modeled by Sanchez-Lacombe (SL), Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK) and Nasrifar-Bolland (NB) Cubic Equations of State. It is concluded that the solubility of H۲S in [BMIM][PF۶] can be most accurately predicted using SL equation of state with AARD% less than ۱. It can also be conclded that when temperature increases, the interaction between H۲S molecules and ionic liquid decreases, and the binary interaction parameter between H۲S and [BMIM][PF۶] increases with temperature which shows the lower solubility at higher temperatures.
