This cross-sectional study was conducted to identify potential risks and assess the level of risk of activities using the occupational safety analysis technique in March ۱۹۹۸. The level of risk was obtained according to the two parameters of severity and probability of their risk and finally, according to the risk assessment code and their prioritization, control measures were presented. Occupational accident analysis can be effective in identifying and reducing workplace hazards and creating a safe environment and increasing productivity at work. The aim of this study was to identify the risks and assess their risk using occupational safety analysis technique during the construction of an Abadan petrochemical unit and prioritize control and proposed measures using PHA-PRO software. The statistical population of this case study is the jobs involved in the construction of one of Abadan Petrochemical units by JSA method to identify hazards and to collect the required information from JSA team and checklists and job analysis and by proposing control measures to eliminate or reduce the risk level. Potential hazards were used. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it is expected that by providing appropriate work tools and personal protective equipment, as well as by implementing the proposed measures, the level of existing risks can be significantly reduced. Among these, simple and cutting workers have the highest number of high risks. Based on the results of the study, seven scaffolding tasks, welding, cutting, electrical repairs, pump repairs, excavation, pipeline replacement and ۷ jobs and ۳۱ tasks were identified using JSA method, a total of ۱۱۴ hazards were identified and ۱۸۵ control measures were performed. Risks and risk assessment for each job were identified and identified, and construction operations risks were at an unacceptable level of ۲.۵%, ۸۲.۵% of the risks at an acceptable level and ۱۵% of the risks at an acceptable level. have taken. Corrective and preventive suggestions are also made to eliminate or limit these risks. Among these, simple and cutting workers have the highest number of high risks and the lowest number of risks related to excavation workers. According to the calculations performed by JSA method based on the obtained criteria, in the first priority of analysis and control measures to reduce risk related to Simple workers and cutters.
