TQM, Quality Performance and Innovation Performance: A new look

Quality and innovation performance in globalization production is very important; because twoperformances cause our goods and services become excellent among our competitors, but some expertsbelieve that we could not obtain quality and innovation performance at the same time. On the otherhand, by considering competitive environment and globalization of firms and organizations, the need toobtain two performance is necessary. TQM literature suggests that TQM has a profound positive impact onquality performance. However very empirical studies have examined the relationship between TQM and qualityperformance. TQM has direct positive effect on quality performance but the finding about the relationshipbetween TQM and innovation Performance are inconsistence. So, we tend to test a new hypothesis to end theinconsistency of these studies. At first, we review the literature and then to test hypothesizes, we must gather data.Data collection was lasted six months from some SME’S in Isfahan city of Iran. The finding of this study showthat TQM has indirect positive effect on innovation performance via quality performance.
