چکیده مقاله:
A new method is proposed to calculate three-dimensional dynamical response of a multi-layered half-space to arbiterary buried seismic sources. Three-dimensional thin layer element method pro-posed by Wass, Kausel and Tajimi is expanded to give the strain solution due to a single force. By using a reciprocity relation, synthetic seismograms are computed simultaneously for all source-observer combinations of interest. The accuracy of the method is examined by comparing its results with those obtained by wavenumber integration method for a layered media
