چکیده مقاله:
The ۱۹۸۷ Chibakentoho-oki Earthquake caused liquefaction at many sites in Chiba Prefecture, which is adjacent to Tokyo. Among the sites, very fine sandy silt was liquefied in reclaimed lands along Tokyo Bay. According to cyclic triaxial tests of the boiled soils, liquefaction strengths were small, though they had many fine grains. To study liquefaction strength of silty sand many cyclic triaxial tests were conducted. A fairly good relation between liquefaction strength of artificially filled silty sand and clay contents was obtained. Moreover, aging effects on silty sand were clarified from three points of view
