In order to study of energy dissipation in cohesionless granular media, one dimensional shaking table tests were performed on saturated loose and medium dense models. ۱۲ models were subjected to cyclic and three different irregular shear stress patterns. The relation between the accumulated excess PORE water pressure and shear work or normalized shear work are studied in these experiments. It is shown that in the first part of the experiments that undrained condition can be assumed, mentioned parameters correlate with excess pore pressure. This relations are independent from stress path for shear work and from stress path and confining pressure for normalized shear work.
