INVESTIGATION OF STRUCTURE TO MULTILAYER BASE INTERACTION UNDER SEISMIC ACTION

Regularities of seismic transverse waves propagation and transformation in multilayer medium are studied. Quantitative data on predominant periods and accelerogram amplitudes changing at the seismic transverse wave passing through multilayer medium are obtained. Horizontal base-to-structure interaction is studied. The quantitative data are obtained using real accelerograms recorded during the ۱۹۸۸ Spitak earthquake.
