چکیده مقاله:

The purpose of our investigation is to demonstrate new technique for determination of the P-wave velocity structure by using the arrival time data from local earthquakes and explosions. This technique in use is the realization of the method of consecutive subtracting of velocity anomalies (CSVA-method). Earlier it utilized teleseismic data. The group of inverse methods include the CSVA-method, which is a projection method. The possibility of choice physical reasonable solution from all solution-candidates is a distinctive property of the CSVA-method. Two criterious of this choice were considered. Because of the application of this method, it's possible to produce the control over the process of solution in order to use all possible a priori information. We suppose, this method to be inore suitable than others for areas which are characterized by the strong inhomogeneity of the medium.
