The South part of Bulgaria is one of the rost seismic activity region on the Balkan Peninsula and with a large population. There was localised the most seismic generated volume in the Earth crust for the most active dislocation system. The great realisation of seismic energy is a result of tectonic movements along the Maritsa fault lines, A nap showing of the probability intensity of the country for earthquake resistant design and isolation of structures and equipments against earthquakes has been demonstrated.
