The most common side effects of COVID-۱۹ vaccines

Background and Aim : COVID-۱۹ is a viral disease that has been spreading in Wuhan, China since December ۲۰۱۹. The vaccine for this disease has caused a great change in the natural course and mortality of the disease. The present study was designed to determine the most common side effects of COVID-۱۹ vaccines in the world.Methods : The present study was a brief review study designed in ۲۰۲۱. PubMed / Medline and Scopus databases were used to search for similar studies and extract content. Selected keywords for the search included “COVID-۱۹” and “vaccines”. Summaries of articles published in congresses and conferences were excluded from the study. Initially, ۸ articles were finally evaluated.Results : Examining various studies, it was found that the most common side effects of COVID-۱۹ vaccines on humans include pain at the injection site, fatigue, headache, muscle pain, joint pain, nausea, fever, chills, etc. Some studies have also reported diarrhea, edema, vomiting, urticaria, pruritus, and palpitations. A small number of studies have also reported lymph node enlargement, loss of sense of smell, and neurological manifestations.Conclusion : The results of various studies show that the most common side effects of corona vaccines are pain at the injection site, fatigue, headache, fever, chills, muscle and joint pain, etc. These side effects remain between ۱ to ۳ days. It does not disrupt life, but despite the reluctance of the people to carry out the vaccination plan, governments can encourage people to get vaccinated by providing appropriate information and backgrounds and by granting incentive points.
