A Comprehensive Energy Efficiency Plan for Glass Industry in Iran

Iran is one of the most important developing countries in glass industry in Middle East. A comprehensive program and plan for optimizing of energy consumption can make useful solutions and programs and will open new horizons in front of all area countries. This paper is apt to the long-term programs of optimizing of energy consumption in Iran’s glass industry through modeling and optimization of energy flow, using the programming model of EFOM-ENV. At first, Iran glass industry is modeled and then it will be optimized from technical-economical viewpoint and in regard to internal and international policies, in a long term horizon, using different scenarios
