Optical Coupling of L – Nanocavity to Plasmonic Bowtie Nanoantenna

Optimum near field coupling of L – nanocavity to a gold bowtie nano antenna is studied in this paper considering light confinement and enhancement. X – Polarized optical field concentrated within nanocavity exciting the plasmon resonance of the bowtie nano antenna leads to huge enhancement of electric field in the nano scale gap vicinity of the antenna. FDTD based numerical simulation results are presented
