چکیده مقاله:
The partial discharge measurement is a precise diagnosis method for acquiring information about the condition of the insulation. PD pulses tend to appear only in the time of Nano-seconds and can be detected without any power outage by using the high-bandwidth antenna, i.e. UHF sensor. In this study, high-frequency sensor and various methods for detecting the effects of partial discharge in cables are examined. In addition, according to the presented comparison between the tests and measurements of the proposed method and other sensors, UHF sensors are a suitable choice for high-sensitivity measurements because of their ability to detect minor discharges.
