Speech Enhancement and its Evaluation Criteria

Speech Enhancement is an effort to improve the performance quality of speech processing systems in cases where the speech signal is affected by noise, reflection and other destructive factors. This article examines the concepts associated with speech enhancement and the types of classifications available for speech enhancement. There is also information on how to evaluate speech enhancement systems. Sources and specifications of audio noise have also been studied as one of the important factors in recognizing the necessity of speech enhancement.
