THE NECESSITY OF OVER-TRANSLATION TO IMPORT SENSEFUL LINGO-MESSAGES TO THE TARGET LANGUAGE

Translation is generally understood to be more than a literal rendering of words or phrases as they appear in the source text. Since legal and judicial translations have their own peculiarities, the traditional trends of semantic, communicative, or other "ic" translations would sometimes fall short of the expectations of readers in the target language because such productions can seem awkward and unusual. So, what is the solution? The most acceptable rendering should be close to the way readers of such texts expect in the target language, which includes their sensitivity to serious choices. The aim of this article is, therefore, to focus on the need for translation in the above-mentioned texts in order to make them sound more professional and culturally friendly to foreign authorities.
