چکیده مقاله:
The ample supply of fresh water is one of the basic needs of human life and various industries at the timebeing. Due to the growing world population and limited fresh water reserves in the world, cheaper andfaster seawater desalination for supply of water , has become more and more important. Brackish waterdesalination accomplished in different ways around the world in proportion to the quantity and quality ofrequired water. Production Cost is one of the most important factors in selecting the process method. Itdepends on quality of the water, Type of technology, Plant capacity, supply and consumption of energy.The above mentioned factors may leads to increament in the cost of desalination in such a way that someof the techniques become non-economical. Plant location specification, cost of water transportation fromthe source to the treatment plant, water distribution and disposal of waste generated are different.Thefactors in choosing these methods and compare them with each other are very impressive. Case studieshave shown that the cost of water producing by MSF and MED processes are indentical in operationalcosts, but RO method has lower cost than the MSF. In this paper somewhat described above mentionedtopics and cheapEr and renewable energy sources for these processes is described.(۱) In general, thewater extracted from one of the wells with the flowrate of ۱۰ liters per second is used for greenhouses.The EC of well water is about ۱,۴۰۰ micromhos. For using this water for cultivation of vegetables such astomatoes and cucumbers, the harmful mineral and slats should be removed. Therefore by installation andoperation of RO systems, It is intended to adjust the mineral water in the range ۶۰۰-۵۰۰ micromhosthereby ensuring the project will be successful.
