چکیده مقاله:
This paper presents the derivations of the governing equations for the dynamic analysis of third order shear deformation theory for thermopiezoelastic composite beam. The linear equations of coupled thermopiezoelectricty for the composite beam are obtained. The procedure is illustrated with the two piezoelectric layers acting as distributed actuator and sensor to study the distributed control of the composite beam under the thermal environment. The results of simulations are presented in order to visualize the states of their dynamics deformations and the state of thermal field. The direct proportional feedback control algorithm in which a closed control loop to couple the direct and converse piezothermoelastic effects as a distributed system. The Third order shear deformation theory (HSDT) and First order shear deformation theory (FSDT) or Timoshenko beam and Euler-Bernoulli (ETB) hypothesis which disregards the effects of the shear deformation are assessed by comparison with the deflection and stress and induced temperature of the simply-supported beam. The Reddy’s third-order shear deformation theory applied to the dynamic finite element analysis of laminated plates just like the applications of other popular shear beam theories. Results obtained are discussed critically with those of other theories. The HSDT yields the realistic variation of displacement and stresses and temperature through the thickness of beam. For the coupled thermopiezoelasticity, it is found that the induced temperature is important in the precision control of dynamic piezoelectric beams. The stresses and displacement field and temperature are compared with no pyroelectric effect. In addition, the effect of pyroelectric on the temperature amplitude of the composite beam is significant.
