Implementation of physical asset management Case study of Mayashir factory

There are three essential parts: assets (financial, intellectual, andphysical), processes (what it does, and how it does it), and employees,which make up every business. Meanwhile, the management ofphysical assets, especially in equipment-based industries, plays anessential role in increasing productivity. Implementing a physical assetmanagement system as a broad set of processes and guidelines andpaying attention to the needs and requirements of stakeholders requiresperforming a set of activities and paying attention to various aspects oforganizational empowerment. This study evaluates the management ofphysical assets in a beverage factory based on the Uptime model. Forthis purpose, the organization's employees completed the relevantquestionnaire, and the researcher analyzed the results. The papercompares the self-assessment results with the opinions of the assessorand national and global averages. Based on these results, there are manyopportunities for improvement in the field of physical assetmanagement. Finally, the paper proposes improvement solutions toimprove the organization's situation.
