The Effect of Health Care Expenditure on the Economic Growth in Iran

This paper considers the relationship between health care and economic growth. Data on public health expenditure and economic growth by using the ordinary last square showed a significant and positive relationship between them. Economic growth is attained by an important element of public policy that is the quality of good health. As a result, huge budgetary allocation is devoted by Iran to health, this huge health expenditure managed to translate into better health status.Thus, it improves life expectancy, efficiency, and productivity of labor.
