The effect of frankincense aqueous extract on memory retrieval and number of hippocampal necrotic neurons in streptozotocin-infected Alzheimer's rats

Alzheimer's is an irreversible neurodegenerative brain disease that impairs memory and cognitive skills. In this study, the effect of frankincense aqueous extract as a potent antioxidant on memory impairment and number of neurons in CA۱, CA۲, CA۳ hippocampal region in streptozotocin (STZ) -infected rats was investigated.
