A review on evaluation of effective parameters for increasing the safety of railway systems

One of the most important parts of the development of any society is the transportation system of the country, which can be claimed that without a proper and advanced transportation system, it is not possible to achieve the economic goals. Due to the fact that transportation has different types, its security in each of these types is an important factor that can improve transportation in any methods. On the other hand, safety is effective for the protection of the lives and property of the people, i.e., the national capitals. Rail transportation is one of the most important methods of transportation, because it is economical both in terms of the amount of passenger and cargo transportation and saving time. It can be also claimed that because of its implementation method, it is safer compared to other methods. Although rail transportation is currently one of the safest methods of transportation of goods and passengers, along with its other advantages, in order to ensure safety and maintain national capitals, identifying the causes and factors affecting the occurrence of accidents is very essential. It is necessary to get closer to this goal to increase the railwayʼV safety. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that applying each of them can increase the safety of the movement of vehicles in railways.
