In the present study, equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) was used for consolidation of commercial purity aluminum powders at different temperatures. The consolidation behavior of powder particles at different temperatures and resulting microstructural evolution and mechanical properties were investigated. Dislocations density decreased by increasing the consolidation temperature. Higher consolidation temperatures resulted in improved densification response of powder particles. Microstructure remained unchanged in terms of grain size at different consolidation temperatures but the grains aspect ratio altered by increasing the consolidation temperature. Consolidation at ۲۵۰ ºC delivered the best mechanical properties in the consolidated specimens.
