چکیده مقدمه: بازرسی بر مبنای ریسک ابزار قدرتمندی است که توسط موسسه نفت آمریکا جهت پاسخ به نیازهای صنایع فرآیندی ارائه شده است. تمرکز اصلی این روش روی بازرسی، مدیریت یکپارچگی، نگهداری و تعمیرات و همچنین کاهش وقوع ازکارافتادگی سیستم می باشد. هدف از این مطالعه تکنیک بازرسی بر مبنای ریسک و فاکتورهای بحرانی موفقیت در پیاده سازی آن به منظور بهبود سیستم های مدیریتی مبتنی بر ریسک و ایمنی فرآیند می باشد. روش بررسی: در این مطالعه مروری، ابتدا فهرستی از واژگان کلیدی مبتنی بر عنوان پژوهش شامل فاکتورهای بحرانی موفقیت (Critical Success Factors: CSF)، ارزیابی ریسک، ایمنی فرآیند، مدیریت خوردگی، برنامه بازرسی، مکانیزم خرابی، بازرسی بر مبنای ریسک (Risk-based Inspection: RBI) (نگهداری و تعمیرات مبتنی بر ریسک (Risk-based Maintenance: RBM)، مدیریت یکپارچه مبتنی بر ریسک (Risk-based Integrity Management: RBIM) و مدیریت یکپارچه دارائی (Asset Integrity Management: AIM) مشخص و سپس هر واژه به طور اختصاصی و بدون محدودیت زمانی در  پایگاه های اطلاعاتی داخلی و خارجی Science Direct, PubMed, Google Scholar, SID, Google Search, Magiran, Civilica و Scopus مورد جستجو قرار گرفت. یافته ها: مرور نظامند مطالعات مختلف نشان داد که فاکتورهای بحرانی موفقیت بستر لازم  برای اجرای هرچه بهتر روش بازرسی بر مبنای ریسک را در صنایع فرآیندی فراهم می آورد و عوامل ضروری برای اجرای موثر روش RBI محسوب می شوند. نتیجه گیری: آنالیز یافته ها نشان داد که شناسایی CSF ها می توانند اجرای موثر RBI را در صنایع بهبود بخشد و مزایای ذکر شده برای این روش را تضمین کند. از طرف دیگر اجرای مهندسی و دقیق روش RBI منجر به پیاده سازی هرچه بهتر سیستم های مدیریتی مبتنی بر ریسک و ایمنی فرآیند و ارتقاء آن ها خواهد شد.
