چکیده مقاله:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between online game addiction with difficulties in emotion regulation and mental health in students on epidemic of COVID-۱۹ in the city of Astara. The present study is a component of applied research in terms of purpose and a component of descriptive correlational research in terms of method. The present study population included all high school students in the city of Astara in the academic year ۲۰۲۰-۲۰۲۱ in the context of the Corona epidemic. ۱۲۰ students participated in the study through available sampling through available sampling program. Standard questionnaires such as online game addiction Wang and Chang (۲۰۰۹), difficulties in emotion regulation Gratz and Roemer (۲۰۰۴) and mental health Goldberg and Hiller (۱۹۷۹) were used to measure the research variables. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and correlation and multiple regression analysis using Spss ۲۳ software. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between students ' online game addiction and difficulties in emotion regulation and a negative and significant relationship with mental health at a significance level of ۹۹% and difficulties in emotion regulation and mental health could explain ۵۵% of the variance of students' online game addiction.
