چکیده مقاله:
The main objective of this research is to evaluate the effect of authentic leadership on decision making in petroleum related organizations in Iran. In term of objective, the current research method is applicable and grouped in analytical researches. Two survey questionnaires have been designed and distributed among the managers and supervisors in order to assess the level of authenticity and one to evaluate the effect of authentic leadership on decision making components. The results have been analysed via significance test and variance indices and eventually Pearson correlation coefficient. The results show that the presence of the authentic leaders in such organizations is positively related with individual’s decision making components which finally leads to improvement of organizational environment. The result shows the positive effect of independent variable which contains four subsets including self-awareness, moral perspective, balance processing and relational transparency on decision making which includes thoroughness, control, hesitancy, social resistance, optimizing, principled, and instinctiveness.
