The role of poetry in the language learning process of preschool students

The goal of this research is a review study on the role of poetry in process of language learning in pre-school students. The method used in this study is descriptive-analytical and data collections are in library. Research findings showed that using poetry can help the process of language development in children. In other words preschool programs including poetry can expand children's verbal skills and increase the children’s lexical treasury
