چکیده مقاله:

In the present work, we deal with the structure geology, structural maps, stereo plotting and preparation of structural cross-sections of Tatta Pani, Dandli, Sarsawa and Phagwari areas of the Kotli district along the eastern limb of the Hazara-Kashmir syntaxis. This is an active fold-and-thrust belt in the sub Himalayas of Pakistan. The Mandi syncline, Tatta Pani Anticline, Panjera anticline and Khuirata anticline are the major folds. These are open in nature. The Riasi Thrust, Godri Badshah and Nuoi Sarhota Fault are the major Faults. The Riasi Thrust and Godri Badshah Fault are active faults. The Cambrian to Recent sedimentary rock sequence is exposed in the area. The area lies between the latitude ۳۳°۳۱ ۴۴"to ۳۳°۳۳۲۲" and longitude ۷۳°۴۵۰" to ۷۳°۵۹۰" on Survey of Pakistan Toposheet number ۴۳G/۱۴. The ۷۲ Km۲ area has been mapped on scale of ۱:۵۰,۰۰۰
