Imam Mosque of Tehran, with a history of more than ۱۸۰ years, is one of the historical monuments in Tehran, which has suffered severe damage from the time of Nasser al-Din Shah to ۱۹۴۴ due to improper restoration measures. In this research, by examining the manner and reasons of damages in the mentioned parts of the structure, measures have been taken to provide measures to strengthen and improve the performance of these parts in the face of future earthquakes. The Roman arch of the south porch has dropped about ۵ cm from the top of its arch. The study concluded that it is consistent with the damage to the structure. The research is based on descriptive and analytical methods and to collect the study, data collection in the form of documents, field and interview has been used. An interview was conducted with Professor Mohabeli, in charge of strengthening the mosque. According to the results, collecting roofing felt, lightening the arches from excess load, collecting iron sheets, lightening the dome, applying a protective cover on the roof and other measures that we will discuss in the text, can make Construction of structures resistant against earthquakes with a magnitude of ۷ Richter.
