Luminescence Properties of TeO۲-LiF-Gd۲O۳ Glasses

In this work, the structural properties and spectroscopic behavior ۸۰ mol.%TeO۲-۲۰mol.%LiF glasses which were doped with ۰. ۰۵, ۰. ۲ mole% Gd۲O۳ have been studied. It was shown that,  by increasing the amount of Gd۲O۳ the glass stability was decreased. The PL emissions at ۴۳۱nm and ۶۲۷nm wavelengths were distinguished by ۳۲۰nm excitation. The FT-IR analysis showed deformed TeO۴ groups in these glasses.
