چکیده مقاله:

Background and Objective: In this study the effect of high intensity interval training on miR-۲۹ expression that is expressed in the heart and in the regulation of physiological processes, including extracellular matrix and cardiac hypertrophy of healthy male rats were examined. Materials and Methods: ۱۶ Wistar rats were divided into training (n=۸) and control (n=۸) groups. After one week of familiarization, the training protocol was performed for ۸ weeks. The progressive training protocol included ۶ min warm up (with ۵۰ to ۶۰% of VO۲max), ۷ frequency (۴ min with ۸۰ to ۹۰% of VO۲max and ۳ min with ۵۰ to ۶۰% of VO۲max) and ۵ min cool down with ۵۰ to ۶۰% of VO۲max.The animals were sacrificed ۲۴ hours after the last session of training program and cardiac samples were kept at a temperature of - ۸۰ ° C and the variable expression levels (miR-۲۹a، miR-۲۹b and miR-۲۹c) were measured by RT-PCR method. Analysis of the results was performed by independent t-test. Results: Training led to a significant increase in miR-۲۹a (۳.۵ fold), miR-۲۹b (۲.۲۴ fold) and miR-۲۹c (۹.۷۷ fold) gene expression in the training group compared with the control group (p<۰.۰۰۱). Also training brought about ۲۲% increase in heart weight to body weight ratio (HW/BW) in the training group (p<۰.۰۰۱). Conclusion: These results point out that training increases miR-۲۹ expression which is associated with physiological cardiac hypertrophy and improved heart performance. ۱- Rohini A, Agrawal N, Koyani C, et al.
