چکیده مقاله:

The high specific surface area, abundance of mesopores and very low density of aerogels cause they havefound many potential applications in various fields, including lithium-ion batteries, hydrogen production,storage reactors, as well as development of aerogle matrix for nanoparticles supports. In this study, carbonaerosols were synthesized using polymerization of resorcinol-furfural monomers andhexamethylenetetramine as a gelation catalyst in isopropanol and using supercritical carbon dioxide (srCO2)drying process. The aerogels were characterized by nitrogen adsorption isotherms and FE-SEM Theinfluence of pressure of drying process on the final properties of aerogels has been investigated. The resultsshow that increasing the supercritical fluid pressure in the gel drying step led to an increase in specificsurface area.
