چکیده مقاله:
Over the past several decades, the synthesis of N-containing heterocyclic compounds has been a developing area of research within the realm of heterocylic chemistry.1 Of N-heterocycles, 1,4-dihydropyridines (DHPs) are of great significance due to their wide range of chemical reactivity and broad spectrum of biological and pharmaceutical properties.2 So far, many efforts have been devoted for the synthesis of various 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives.3 However, designing and synthesis of novel 1,4-DHPs is still in demand. In continuation of our research on triarylmethanes,4 herein we wish to report the synthesis of novel 1,4-dihydropyridines bearing a triarylmethane moiety. The structures of the synthesized compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, and FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and 13C-NMR spectral data.
