چکیده مقاله:

This paper aims to present an efficient non-gradient approach for structural topology optimization of the continuum domains with stress constraints. For this purpose, the antcolony optimization method is used as the solver and an explicit representation which is known as moving morphable components (MMC) is utilized. This explicit parameterization helps to decrease the numbers of design variables and therefore, increases the efficiency and convergence speed. With this type of parameterization, handling the symmetry constraints would be so easier. To handle the high numbers of stress constraints, and aggregation strategy is used. The results are presented in a well-known benchmark example in terms of convergence of objective, constraints, the evolution of components, and density fields. It is demonstrated that the algorithm was able to solve three case studies as well.
