چکیده مقاله:

Topology optimization is a novel approach for the lightweight design of additively manufactured structures with extremum mechanical performance. Yet, many works in the state-ofthe- art are dedicated to topology optimization of structures under static loadings and there are just a few papers concerning the eigenfrequency based topological design in continuum domains. This paper aims to present a method to identify the optimal topologies in continuumdomains to maximize the first eigenfrequency subjected to the stiffness constraint and existence of geometrical prescribed symmetry. To parameterize the design domain, the novel low dimensional explicit approach called moving morphable components (MMC) is utilized. The constraints of the problems which are handled by the exterior penalty method are volume fraction and the stiffness constraint which is presented inversely as the compliance. Instead of using conventional sensitivity-based optimization methods, the ant colony optimization is used as the solver due to the excellent exploration in the continuous domains. It is demonstrated that the algorithm can present eligible designs with good efficiency.
